Privacy controls
Your data belongs to you.
Torniq uses your profile to run tournaments and preserve results. Sign in to the account that owns your player profile to download or erase your personal data, including linked profiles.
A tournament invitation grants viewing access only. Sign in to your own account to use these controls. If your invited profile is not linked yet, use the identity-linking option in your personal invitation first.
Download your data
Download your profile and linked profiles, memberships, your saved names in tournaments, registration requests, payment flags, participation, and rating history as JSON. Private organizer notes and security credentials are excluded.
Erase your player profile
Erase personal data from your player profile and linked profiles. Sporting results are retained under opaque player IDs. Organizer accounts must resolve their organizer role before account deletion.
Privacy by design
Private invite
Your invite grants a short-lived, read-only session.
Purpose limited
Data is used to operate tournaments and ratings.
Protected
Invite credentials are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Link-shared tournaments
During play and for 24 hours after completion, anyone with the link to a published tournament can see player names and match data.
Who can see your name
Organizers and other players can see your display name in community and tournament views. Anyone with a shared tournament link can see names and results during play and for 24 hours after completion. You can use a nickname. Changing your profile name does not rewrite saved tournament snapshots or previously downloaded PDFs.
Cookies and browser storage
Torniq uses authentication cookies and browser storage for sign-in, invitations and saved preferences such as language, appearance and sound. Browser settings control this storage. Signing out ends your account session; clearing site data removes saved browser preferences.
Security and service logs
Restricted access and error logs help protect and operate the service. Azure audit logs may include network addresses and technical identity or resource identifiers. Logs in our monitoring workspace are retained for 30 days. They do not include secret values, tournament document contents or full query text.
